This fully automatic press is the complete solution for the manufacture of rail disk- and block brake pads. One person can operate a number of machines at the same time. The backplates are taken from a magazine, centred and positioned at the mould. A volumetric filling device transfers the mix ready for pressing into the mould. The pressed pad is automatically ejected after thickness control checks, and transported to the next stage of manufacture. Pads outside the limits of preset tolerances are ejected. Proven supervision and control systems guarantee a high and durable quality of the final product. The tool change requires only a few minutes, giving the system a high degree of flexibility within the running production program.
